"Rain Rain Go Away"

The Lovely weather in Wollongong

Dont know what was going on but on the day this was taken it was 38 outside they must have been cooking in those costumes

Went on a day-cation this week to a town called Wollongong. It’s a two hour train ride from Sydney so not too bad. On my way there I was enjoying the views and listening to my ipod about an hour into my journey. I suddenly realised everyone was off the train and a guy was telling me I had to leave. The train had broke down or something like that and I had to go get on a bus to take me the rest of the way. It was not too bad I figured out how to get to where I needed to go, played it cool but was a little panicky on the inside.

This week the weather has been total crap (gnomes hate the rain). Know when you go on a vacation and for some reason you figure that the place your going is always going to be perfect weather... I pack along those lines so I don’t have any real jackets or things to wear in the rain. To add on to that I was hanging my clothes to dry on the day that the rain started so I had no pants till two days later when I finally gave in and paid for the dryer.

I fell down this weekend while wearing high heals and hurt one of my ankles nothing to bad but I got a minor sprain on my left ankle. I am still going to go surfing camp tomorrow so picture this... I’ll be wearing a bandage around my left ankle and a knee brace on my right leg... Yeah I’m bad ass!

Cheers

Chinese New Years

Chinese New Years Yesterday
I got back home at around 6:30pm after spending the day roaming the streets. When I got back I found out that my flat mates where planning on going to the Chinese new years parade that was happening in china town and I jumped at the opportunity to join.

First we went to the Chinese food court I got the "special fried rice" at 5.50$ (I had enough left to have lunch or supper tomorrow sweet) After we ate we went out onto the street and waited for the parade to start. Waited for about an hour and the actual parade was almost 2 hours long then we ran over and caught the very end of the fireworks that were taking place in the same place that I saw them for Australia day.
